Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and sustainability-inclined Virtual Sales Prospecting Volunteer to support our sales and outreach efforts. As a volunteer, you will help identify and engage potential partners, businesses, and other stakeholders, contributing to our mission to promote sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential partners and clients aligned with our mission of promoting sustainability and green jobs.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through online research, social media engagement, and other virtual channels.
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to connect with potential partners.
- Draft and send compelling introductory messages and proposals to engage new leads.
- Collaborate with the Green Jobs Everywhere team to refine prospecting techniques and outreach strategies.
- Track and update all prospect interactions using relevant tools or software to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Provide regular progress reports to the team, including data on prospecting activities and outcomes.
- Stay informed on current sustainability trends, industry events, and market shifts to enhance outreach effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Passion for sustainability, environmental advocacy, and promoting green careers.
- Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, or customer relations is a plus but not required.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships via virtual channels.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using online tools, such as CRM systems and/or spreadsheets, is preferred.
