Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck and Bus Bodybuilding Department Manager at Kenya Coach Industries LTD, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Truck and Bus Bodybuilding Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality truck and bus bodies. The role includes managing team members, coordinating with other departments, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring that production targets are met. Additionally, the manager will monitor inventory levels, manage budgets, and implement best practices for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in truck and bus bodybuilding, automotive manufacturing, or related fields
• Team management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes
• Budget management and inventory control
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in project management
