Job Summary:
Chint PVSTAR is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Delivery Management professional to oversee all aspects of logistics and warehouse management in Kenya. This role will be responsible for customs affairs, inventory management, warehouse coordination, and optimizing logistics to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics, supply chain
management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customs and Delivery Coordination:
- Receive goods from China, manage customs clearance in Kenya, and coordinate the transfer of goods between third-party warehouses and sales agent warehouses.
- Inventory and Demand Forecast Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, manage demand forecasts, and ensure accurate stock levels in both third-party and sales agent warehouses.
- Sales and Collection Agent Management:
- Manage sales and collection agent information and contracts, ensuring smooth coordination of operations and services.
- Commission and Payment Management:
- Process commission payment applications for warehouse management sales agents, sales agents, and collection agents.
- Warehouse and Logistics Operations:
- Ensure all warehouse activities adhere to procedure, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with headquarters for process optimization.
- Cycle Counting and Inventory Accuracy:
- Conduct monthly cycle counts for third-party and sales agent warehouses to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Shipping and Delivery Coordination:
- Verify shipping orders, coordinate with commercial services for delivery, create delivery plans, and ensure smooth document handovers.
- Cost Management:
- Oversee the settlement of warehouse and logistics costs, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Supplier and Resource Development:
- Assist in developing third-party warehouse and transportation supplier resources to optimize delivery processes.
- Logistics Optimization:
- Continuously improve logistics, transportation, customs clearance, and packaging to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency.
- Reporting and Forecasting:
- Collect and analyze demand data, forecast needs, and support supply chain operations with timely, accurate reporting.
- Ad-hoc Tasks:
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Delivery Management Director and report progress to headquarters.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, delivery management, or operations.
- Experience with commercial services or customer relationship management is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent communication abilities (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
