Job Description:

As a Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the development and execution of digital marketing strategies that promote our software solutions to businesses and consumers. Your role will involve supporting the marketing team in creating content, managing social media channels, and analyzing campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • I’d appreciate it if you could assist in developing and executing B2B and B2C social media strategies across major platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Help create, curate, and manage content, including blog posts, social media updates, and visual content, that showcases our expertise in digital transformation.
  • Support the planning and managing of paid social media campaigns aimed at lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to develop visually appealing content that aligns with our brand.
  • Could you monitor social media channels and engage with our online community, quickly responding to comments and messages?
  • I’d like you to help analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns and prepare reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Learn and apply SEO, SEM, and email marketing strategies to enhance our digital presence.
  • Please stay updated with the latest digital marketing and social media trends to help bring fresh ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in social media management and digital marketing, especially in the context of technology and software solutions.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics) are pluses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative in a collaborative team setting.
  • Familiarity with the Kenyan market and business landscape is a plus.
