We are seeking a creative, energetic, and innovative Social Media Content & Strategy Specialist to lead the charge in saturating our social media platforms with engaging, high-impact content. You will be responsible for shooting, editing, and producing short-form videos and SM content, interacting with our online community, and providing fresh and interactive insights that will help shape our overall communications strategy. If you live and breathe social media, have a pulse on emerging trends, and are passionate about using digital platforms to spark social change and internationalize Sudanese culture, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation:
• Capture and produce short-form videos and other dynamic content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Edit and optimize videos for maximum engagement and shareability.
• Community Engagement:
• Actively manage and interact with followers on all social media platforms, driving conversations and building a vibrant, engaged community.
• Monitor social media trends and audience feedback to continually refine content strategy.
• Strategy Contribution:
• Collaborate closely with the communications team to inform and develop overall communications strategy.
• Provide regular insights and recommendations based on performance analytics and emerging digital trends.
• Brand Alignment:
• Ensure all content is aligned with Contra’s mission, vision, and brand identity.
• Innovate and experiment with fresh ideas that reflect our cultural and creative ethos.
• Campaign Execution:
• Support the rollout of our 12-month content calendar and drive initiatives that enhance our presence and impact in the digital space.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media content creation, videography, and digital editing.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and grow online communities.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and analytics tools.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and push boundaries.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for cultural and social issues is a plus.
