Senior Manager Growth & Commercialization Digital
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Digital Banking, role focuses on development & execution of strategies to drive sustainable and scalable business growth & commercialization for the digital banking unit. Key duties include customer acquisition to grow overall customer base while optimizing revenue per customer & maximizing customer lifetime value. Holder plays a key role in driving business expansion, increasing market share, and achieving sustainable revenue growth through strategic actions leveraging on data-driven decision-making and through cross-functional collaboration with risk, marketing etc.
Key Accountabilities.
Strategy & Commercialization 50%
- Lead the development of commercialization initiatives for digital solutions working with cross-functional teams. KPIs include Product revenue & profitability, channel adoption, customer retention and response/win rates.
- Be accountable as a business leader for achievement of the Digital Business financial and strategic outcomes. Develop and implement Digital Business Consumer segment cost structures/investments.
- Actively participate in developing the Digital Business commercial strategy (and its continuous iteration) that defines the short-term and long-term plans that leverage on Information, Technology and Digitization capabilities for the business.
- Lead the definition and execution of the business models, products and Go-To Market (GTM)/Distribution strategies for the segment.
- Structure the Consumer segment outcomes and prioritize their execution, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and all organization resources are mobilized for the achievement of the intended value.
- Own consumer growth strategy to drive growth, maximize immediate and long-term ROMI and inform our customer-facing experience across acquisition and retention.
- Engage Key customers and industry stakeholders e.g. Banks, Consumers and other partners to execute programs that increase growth and deepen product penetration and adoption.
- Pre and Post launch design and implement optimization tests across our end-to-end customer funnel (from acquisition through lifecycle retention).
- Leverage insights from data to design targeted lifestyle retention and loyalty programs to sustain usage performance and mitigate churn.
Stakeholder Engagement – 30%
- Secure and maintain business commitment / involvement from stakeholders and obtain feedback at all stages of the project.
- Design, develop, implement & review the Consumer Management, Segmentation and Monetization Strategy and Framework that will be relevant to the agile and Digital Business environment, focusing on the business goals as well as best practice trends and innovations.
- Assure effective governance of the Consumer segment processes.
- Uphold operational excellence within the Consumer unit to meet the Audit.
- Research, development, implementation and review of Consumer on-boarding, Consumer management standards, rules of engagement, governance and Quality Assurance processes for the Digital Business growth consumer unit based on best practice.
- Ensuring that the Growth Consumer unit is BCP compliant. Page 3 of 4 Snr. Manager, Growth – Consumer Business.
- Design, develop, implement, review, and achieve the Consumer satisfaction indexes.
- Define engines/structure/procedures to support implementation of Consumer growth through their lifetime customer journey.
People Management – 20%
- Lead a team, and design and maintain a functional structure that is best suited and adaptive to the commercial strategy.
- Define and implement recruitment, learning and performance management strategies, as well as cultural practices that attract, nurture and retain the best talent. Drive competencies focus through continuous learning and job enrichment to ensure high performance.
- Mentoring a high-performing team to create and lead strategic marketing initiatives across various marketing functions including but not limited to performance marketing, growth and optimization, events, product marketing, partnerships, and campaigns.
- Implement a succession plan for the unit.
Qualification
- Relevant University Degree
Preferred Experience
- At least 8 years’ work experience, 3 of which should have been in a similar capacity with a proven track record and within a digital business environment.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of competitor and local market activity.
- Experience in driving the growth vision & strategy, go-to-market strategy, and sales strategy.
- In-depth understanding of the various mobile banking platforms
- In-depth understanding of Financial Technology (Fintech).
