Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Kerugoya. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including preparing financial statements, budgeting, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Daily tasks will involve reconciling accounts, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills including financial statement preparation and account reconciliation
• Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
