Role Overview:

As a Pre-Sales Manager for East Africa Operations at Inlaks, you will be at the forefront of engaging with customers and driving pre-sales activities, particularly for T24 core banking solutions. Your strong technical background and project management skills will be essential in delivering compelling proposals and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Engagement: Lead the pre-sales process, engaging with potential customers to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and articulate the value of our T24 offerings.
  • Proposal Development: Craft detailed and persuasive proposals, presentations, and sales collateral that effectively address client requirements and demonstrate our technical capabilities.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical advice and insights during customer interactions, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of ICT and T24.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, initiation, and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Project Management, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitors in East Africa, providing insights for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • You should have a strong technical background in ICT and significant banking solutions experience. This expertise is crucial for understanding and solving complex technical challenges, ensuring that proposed solutions are viable and effective, and providing credibility when communicating with technically knowledgeable clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects is essential to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, risks are managed, and objectives are met within the set timelines and budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders are a must for building and maintaining strong relationships, clearly conveying technical concepts, and negotiating favorable terms that meet both client and company needs.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, will be crucial for motivating team members, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals and company objectives.
