Academics Coordinator Position

The following outlines the roles and responsibilities of the position: –

§  Oversee the registration of continuing and incoming undergraduate students on the learning platform, orientation and onboarding, fees payment, graduation.

§  The Registrar ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of all academic records of current and former students, and facilitates an effective student registration and documentation process;

§  Partner with Admissions and Academic Advising to facilitate an efficient and timely process to move newly accepted students to be registered;

§  Manages an efficient transcript evaluation and processing and issuance of certificates.

§  Developing and maintaining degree audit system and certification of students for graduation/graduation clearance;

§  Maintains up-to-date course schedules, catalogues, final examination schedules;

§  Interprets and enforces academic policies and regulations of the Institutes;

§  Keeps abreast of operational and reporting trends, regulations, and technology solutions for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Registrar’s office;

§  Responsible for planning weekly zoom classes, invite and schedule trainers and ensuring maximum participation by the students and that the classes run professionally to the satisfaction of the students , trainers and the academics team.

§  Develop and maintain accurate curriculum management systems.

§  Rapidly responding to queries from the students

§  Coordinate student’s recruitments, examinations, assessments, graduation, planning events and developing timetables.

§  Continuously troubleshoot and enquire on the needs of the students and ensure none of them are behind schedules and all are following the academics schedules set.

§  Document, Store and Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of academics correspondence

§  Support bookkeeping and budgeting procedures for the Academics Department

§  Track and replace academics supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in the delivery of academics procedures

§  Submit reports and prepare proposals and presentations as needed
