About the Role
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Join us as an SEO Content Marketer, where you’ll craft globally impactful content, collaborate with a fantastic team, and ultimately implement SEO strategies to help patients worldwide find the best healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Content Writing
- Create captivating content for doctor and hospital profiles tailored to diverse audiences.
- Produce articles to support expansion initiatives across various regions.
- Ensure consistent tone, style, and branding while editing for clarity and grammar.
- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to gather necessary insights for content development.
- Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
Technical SEO Optimization
- Collaborate with the product and development team to analyse website infrastructure for SEO issues and ensure resolution.
- Utilise SEO tools such as Diib, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmasters to identify and resolve SEO-related errors.
- Implement solutions to enhance site performance and comply with search algorithms.
- Monitor analytics for insights on organic performance.
- Stay updated with SEO changes, trends, and best practices to ensure our technical SEO efforts remain current and effective.
On-Page SEO
- Manage and rectify non-technical SEO errors related to meta descriptions, keyword density, and other on-page elements.
- Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords naturally into website content.
- Ensure proper content formatting to enhance readability and SEO.
- Optimise existing content to enhance search engine performance and ranking opportunities.
- Regularly review internal linking structure to improve website navigation and distribute link equity effectively.
Off-Page SEO
- Strategically build backlinks through outreach to relevant platforms and healthcare/partner facilities.
- Foster partnerships and secure features on reputable platforms to enhance online authority and visibility.
Requirements
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in SEO or content marketing.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and basic technical SEO concepts.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry.
- Startup experience.
