Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Line Chef at Asyana Gardens in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, Kenya. As a Line Chef, your day-to-day tasks will include preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to our menu and standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or similar qualifications from a recognized institution.
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Line Chef
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Up-to-date Food Handler’s Certificate
