Hiring: Software Development Engineer Level 1 (SDE I)
Prescott Data is searching for a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer Level 1 (SDE I) to join our growing team! In this exciting role, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, and test software solutions that contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior developers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design and construction to testing and deployment.
2. Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
3. Stay current with the latest advancements and trends in software development technologies.
4. Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to a strong team environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
3. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
4. Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java.
5. Familiarity with database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
6. Proven experience using a version control system (Git preferred).
7. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
Essential Requirements:
1. A valid cloud certification from a major provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) in a relevant track such as Cloud Engineer, Architect, or Data Engineer.
2. Solid understanding of DevOps Practices
Desired Skills:
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of DevOps practices.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
