As a group of companies with 7-8 sister concern companies, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group HR Manager to oversee and coordinate our human resources functions.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Policy Development:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Formulate and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Kenyan labor laws.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding and induction programs.
- Manage talent development and succession planning.
Employee Relations and Performance Management:
- Foster a positive working environment and address employee relations issues.
- Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems to ensure employee performance aligns with company goals.
- Handle disciplinary and grievance matters in accordance with company policy and Kenyan labor laws.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to employee compensation and benefits.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure the company complies with all labor laws and regulations in Kenya.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
HR Information Systems:
- Manage HRIS systems and ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive HR decision-making.
Health, Safety, and Welfare:
- Promote a healthy and safe working environment.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in HR strategy development and implementation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
Salary and Benefits:
- Gross Salary: 250,000 KES per month
- Airtime allowance
- Fuel allowance
- In-patient insurance (for employee only)

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience in the agricultural export sector is an advantage.
