Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Hotel Manager and the role is located on Zanzibar Island. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, budgeting, sales management, food and beverage operations, maintenance, housekeeping and Front Office duties. You will work closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure the smooth operation and continued success of our property.
Qualifications
- Customer service, staff administration, and all guest-facing duties
- Experience with the Opera PMS is a great added advantage
- Experience in hotel reporting and daily hotel statistics
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations including F&B cost controls, inventories and stores management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be fully conversant with Microsoft modules especially Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to work well & independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and leadership skills and able to lead a mixed team
- Previous international experience in the hospitality industry in a 4 or 5 star environment is essential
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred

- We offer a minimum 02 year contract (with work permit if required) plus accommodation & 03 meals daily
