Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Crop Protection Supervisor at Awal Farms in Kajiado County, Kenya. As a Crop Protection Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of crop protection activities. You will develop and implement pest and disease management strategies, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize crop health and maximize productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in crop protection management
- Strong knowledge of pest and disease identification, prevention, and control measures
- Excellent understanding of agricultural practices, crop physiology, and soil management
- Ability to analyze data, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions
- Proficiency in using modern agricultural equipment and technology
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Degree in Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of local crop pests and diseases prevalent in Kajiado County, Kenya is a plus
