Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Counseling Psychologist at Kombewa County Hospital, located in Nairobi. The Counseling Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, conducting therapy sessions, and developing treatment plans. The role also involves offering support to patients dealing with mental health issues, facilitating workshops and training sessions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Psychology and Mental Health skills
• Experience in Psychological Testing and assessments
• Excellent Communication skills
• Education and training experience
• Relevant certification or licensure in counseling psychology
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field
• Experience working in a clinical setting is a plus
