Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute food photography shoots that align with the publication’s brand and vision
- Create visually striking images that showcase finished dishes and ingredients
- Style food for photographs, ensuring attention to detail in presentation and composition
- Collaborate with recipe developers to ensure accurate representation of dishes
- Edit and retouch photos to maintain high-quality standards
- Stay updated on food photography trends and techniques to continually improve your work
Requirements
- Proven experience in food photography and styling, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills
- Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and color theory
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and meet deadlines
- Experience in recipe development is a plus
- Passion for food and the culinary arts
