Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef de Partie located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, supervising junior kitchen staff, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. Additionally, the Chef de Partie will assist in menu planning, inventory management, and maintaining food quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff
  • Menu planning and inventory management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional culinary certification or diploma is a plus
  • Experience working in a hotel or similar hospitality setting is preferred
