Business Sales Executive- Events Resource Mobilizer @ Top Level Management Kenya
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement marketing strategy for resource and partners mobilization plan to secure financial and in-kind sponsorships.
• Sales and meeting targets of onboarding local and international delegates, partners and sponsors
• Identify, cold call, approach, and engage potential businesses, sponsors, investors & donors.
• Mobilize for the registration of delegates, exhibitors and partners
• Prepare compelling funding proposals, sponsorship packages.
• Develop customized partnership models to align with different organizations’ interests and goals.
• Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits.
• Develop and execute an exhibitor outreach strategy targeting local and international businesses.
• Coordinate exhibitor registration, logistics, and engagement before, during, and after the event.
• Develop targeted promotional campaigns for sponsors, partners, and exhibitors.
• Utilize social media, digital marketing, and PR strategies to highlight partner contributions.
• Ensure sponsors and exhibitors receive maximum visibility before, during, and after the event.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, partnership development, or event resource mobilization.
• Strong network within the corporate sector, development agencies, and international organizations.
• Proven track record of securing sponsorships and partnerships for large-scale events.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to write high-quality proposals, sponsorship decks, and reports.
Competencies & Skills:
• Strong business acumen and an understanding of fundraising strategies.
• Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
