Position: Business Development Manager
Type: Full – time, Remote
Location: Kenya
We are pleased to be working with an innovative and rapidly growing managed-service provider within the voice, video, A2P, firewall and CPaaS space. They partner with leading mobile carriers and regulators worldwide and are themselves an established, global business. Due to the growth they are experiencing, we have 3 newly created sales roles that will service in-region MNOs, ISPs/ASPs and large enterprise.
About The Role:
The business development manager will be in charge of establishing new contacts with customer base mentioned above in South Africa. This individual will be selling across the portfolio of services (voice, video, A2P, firewall and CPaaS) but will be the most proficient within the CPaaS sector. The role will entail various selling models (via MNOs, via partners, direct) so this requires an experienced sales person with a successful background in this sector and region.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in mobility/CPaaS space
- Currently residing in Kenya
- A good understanding of the regulations within this industry
- Strong sales capabilities and good track record of closing deals in this sector and region
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers and events when required
- Fluency in English and Local Language advantageous
