Brand Manager @ Chint PVSTAR

Job Summary:

Chint PVSTAR is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Brand Promotion Manager to drive brand awareness and reputation in the Kenyan market. This role will be responsible for implementing brand promotion strategies, organizing events, managing social media, and building strong local relationships to elevate the brand’s presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Kenyan market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creative brand promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Promotion Strategy Implementation:
  • Execute brand promotion strategies issued by headquarters to enhance the visibility and reputation of Chint-PVSTAR in Kenya.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Gain a deep understanding of local market needs, customer behavior, and industry trends to assist the headquarters in developing targeted marketing plans.
  • Event Planning and Execution:
  • Organize and manage online and offline brand promotion activities, including social media campaigns, exhibitions, seminars, product launches, etc., ensuring effective execution.
  • Social Media Management:
  • Operate and manage Chint-PVSTAR’s social media accounts in Kenya, create content strategies, and produce engaging images, videos, and posts to grow followers and improve user engagement.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local media, industry associations, and partners to promote the brand through various channels.
  • Market Feedback Analysis:
  • Collect and analyze market feedback to help the headquarters adjust brand promotion strategies in response to changes in the market and customer needs.
  • Sales Support:
  • Conduct brand promotion activities that align with sales objectives, contributing to sales targets and enhancing the brand’s influence in the sales process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Work Experience:
  • At least 3 years of living, working, studying, or traveling experience in Kenya, with a solid understanding of the local culture, market environment, and consumer behavior. Native Kenyans are highly preferred.
  • Professional Skills:
  • Previous experience in local social media operation, brand promotion, and event planning.
  • Familiarity with the operation rules and promotion techniques on major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Strong copywriting skills for creating engaging content, promotional copy, and event proposals.
  • Proficiency in using office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting on brand promotion effectiveness.

Personal Qualities:

  • Strong market insight and the ability to adapt brand promotion strategies to market trends.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Highly responsible, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment.
