Position Overview: As a Data Mining Associate, you’ll play a vital role in identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities through data analysis and strategic outreach. Your work will bridge the gap between data insights and actionable sales strategies, helping Equator Energy expand its reach in the renewable energy market.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify Opportunities: Leverage data mining techniques to uncover high-potential leads, market trends, and customer segments.

• Support the Sales Team: Provide the sales team with valuable data insights and tailored recommendations to optimize outreach efforts.

• Drive Outreach: Use data-driven insights to engage prospective clients and develop strategies for converting leads into customers.

• Market Research: Analyze solar industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitor performance to identify new growth opportunities.

• CRM Management: Organize and maintain lead and customer data in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and usability.

• Performance Tracking: Develop reports and dashboards to monitor sales progress, lead conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align data-driven insights with overall business goals.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining or sales support roles. Structured and organized.

• An entrepreneurial drive and a spirit of initiative to identify new opportunities and ways of achieving your goals.

• A degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proficiency in tools like Excel, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).

• Understanding of sales processes and how data informs decision-making.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical team members.

• A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills.

• Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is a plus but not required.
