Forty Nine Credit LTD is a leading microfinance institution dedicated to empowering businesses through accessible and flexible financial solutions. We are looking for a Loan & Collection Officer (Business Loans) to join our team and help us expand financial access to SMEs and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Loan Processing & Disbursement

• Assess business loan applications and conduct due diligence.
• Evaluate creditworthiness, business financials, and repayment capacity.
• Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Process and disburse approved loans efficiently.

✅ Loan Collection & Recovery

• Monitor loan repayments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Engage clients with reminders, restructuring options, and recovery strategies.
• Negotiate repayment plans for delinquent customers while maintaining professionalism.
• Work closely with legal and recovery teams to manage default cases.

✅ Customer Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with business clients to ensure customer retention.
• Provide financial advisory services and loan repayment guidance.
• Address client inquiries and offer solutions tailored to their needs.

✅ Risk Management & Reporting

• Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Maintain accurate records of loans and collections.
• Prepare periodic reports on loan performance and collection status.

Qualifications & Requirements:

✔️ Education: Diploma/Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

✔️ Experience: At least 2 years in business loan assessment, credit collection, or financial services.

✔️ Skills:

• Strong knowledge of credit analysis & risk assessment.
• Excellent negotiation & communication skills.
• Ability to handle challenging customers professionally.
• Proficiency in MS Office & loan management systems.
• Added Advantage: Experience in microfinance, SACCOs, or banking.
