Finance Intern

Job Description

  • Gain exposure to Business Operations, Finance, and People Operations. 
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects under the guidance of mentors. 
  • Support ongoing projects, participate in meetings, and contribute ideas and solutions. 

Qualifications

  • At least 3-year student majoring in Finance & Accounting. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. 
  • Having good interpersonal skills and commitment to the accounting profession. 
  • Being detail oriented, dynamic, enthusiastic, creative and responsible. 
  • Able to be flexible and able to work independently but also in a group. 

General Technician

Job Description

You will be required to: 

  • Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
  • Maintain and repair furniture, fixtures, and other physical structures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions
  • Implement and follow safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
  • Assist in the coordination of external contractors when necessary
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs
  • Contribute to the improvement of maintenance processes and efficiency

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Trade certificate or minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in general maintenance.
  • Knowledge of various building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated and energetic, with a positive attitude
  • Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various positions.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergency calls.
  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

Painter

Job Description

  • Providing professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Painting interior and exterior areas of the hotel using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other applicators.
  • Preparing surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or sandblasting.
  • Cutting in freehand or with tape, spot priming, and rolling walls.
  • Caulking, filling, sanding trim; patching drywall; and rolling walls and trim.
  • Mixing and matching paints, enamels, lacquers, stains, and special protective coatings.
  • Identifying and repairing deficiencies in drywall, millwork, appliances, fixtures, flooring, and windows.
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Maintaining an organized inventory of painting materials and supplies.
  • Prioritizing tasks and working efficiently.
  • Supporting Health & Safety standards and environmental sustainability programs.
  • Collaborating with the Chief Engineer and team on projects and renovations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we ask that you have:

  • Trade certificate or minimum of 2-3 years of professional painting experience, including wallpapering, drywall patching, and repairs
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • A high level of responsibility, reliability, and self-motivation.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various conditions while maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Experience working with ladders (8 to 32 feet) both indoors and outdoors.
  • The ability to lead by example and maintain high performance standards.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, overnight shifts, rotating schedules, and be available for emergency situations.
  • Constant standing and walking during the shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, bending, and pushing/pulling.
  • Occasional use of ladders, stairs, and ramps
