Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for managing several key functions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring the continued success of our electric mobility solutions. Some of your primary responsibilities include:
- Expanding the Swapping Station Network: Collaborate with the operations team to identify strategic locations for setting up new swapping stations. This includes assessing viability based on traffic, accessibility, and potential partnerships.
- Coordination of Station Launches: Ensure all new swapping stations are operational by coordinating installation, managing logistical requirements, and overseeing on-site personnel during launches.
- Partner Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, local businesses, and other partners who can help drive Mazi’s expansion efforts.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor daily operations at existing swapping stations, ensuring that any technical issues are quickly identified and resolved in collaboration with the technical team.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Regularly collect data on swapping station usage, operational uptime, and customer satisfaction to guide performance improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and technology teams to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities, product upgrades, and technical deployments at swapping stations.
- Problem-solving: Apply a hands-on approach to address operational challenges, including but not limited to supply chain disruptions, technical failures, and partner management issues.
- Customer Feedback and Service: Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and feedback, ensuring a high level of service delivery at all times.
- Environmental Impact Reporting: Work with the sustainability team to track the environmental impact of our operations, particularly regarding carbon reduction through the use of EVs.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in the role of Operations Associate at Mazi Mobility, we are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or project management is required. Experience in electric mobility, automotive industries, or clean energy is an added advantage.
- EV Knowledge: A foundational understanding of electric vehicles and battery swapping technology is beneficial, though not mandatory. Training will be provided for candidates without direct EV experience.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, assess operational performance, and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from technical teams to external partners.
- Problem-solving Abilities: A proactive problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using a range of operational and project management tools, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other specialized logistics software.
- Hands-on Mentality: Willingness to take a hands-on approach in solving problems and improving processes on the ground.
