What we are looking for
Workpay seeks a meticulous Payments pro to manage and execute digital payments, manually and within the Workpay system, on behalf of customers and Workpay’s own entities. The role requires accounting and customer service, with uniquely high expectations for timeliness, communications, and accuracy. You will report to the Treasury Manager but collaborate with the global Support, Customer Success, and Payroll Ops teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
3+ years in a similar customer-facing payroll or payments role, ideally at a fintech.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory requirements, and reconciliations.
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
Highly proficient at learning and using new software, like Workpay. We also rely heavily on Quickbooks, Profitwell, Google Sheets, Excel, and a range of digital payment tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Non-Negotiables
