Are you a lifelong troubleshooter, obsessed with identifying market gaps and exceptional at bringing structure to complex problems? On top of that, do you want to have full ownership of your ideas and are looking to build your next tech venture from scratch? You’ve come to the right place!
For our upcoming cohort in August 2024, we are looking for Business Strategy and Commercial Leaders who want to build the next disruptive tech venture from scratch! Business and Commercial Leaders joining our platform plays an instrumental role as Co-founders & CEOs/COOs, mainly being responsible for developing the business model and running the operations, which requires that you:
- identify as a business leader / commercial leader with demonstrated experience building businesses, managing business processes, well-thought-out strategies to curb unprecedented challenges, and deep industry insight and network to build relevant partnerships?
- know how to run the operations of a business and are great at building relationships across markets and functions
- are an exceptional problem solver with very strong analytical skills, capable of breaking down complex issues and bringing structure into business cases
- have years of industry expertise, a solid strategy, and the ability to lead a strong team of co-founders looking to build a disruptive tech venture out of Africa
- might have an idea (optional) that will solve a problem that you’re passionate about, but you don’t want to do it on your own. You understand that you need co-pilots who share your vision and values

We are looking for founders with business profiles from different industries, e.g., Consumer, Logistics, E-commerce, etc., including founders with relevant experience in Fintech and a passion for how Blockchain can power the latest innovations in this space.
How does this work?
Phase 1:
- You will find your co-founder(s) and a fantastic start-up idea to work on.
- You will receive dedicated and personalized coaching and mentoring from our Nairobi team and access our global network of over 400 advisors.
- You will enjoy inspirational talks and learn about extraordinary business success stories from driven entrepreneurs and renowned investors.
- Access to $350k+ in top-tier tech-platform credits
- Workspace for founders and teams
- You will pitch to our internal Investment Committee to raise a pre-seed investment of $150K.
Phase 2: (Only for teams that have received our investment)
- You will build your Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with your co-founder(s) and Antler’s support.
- You and your business partner will acquire your first customers
- If all goes well, your company will begin generating actual revenues
- At the end of phase 2, your company will get to present to hundreds of investors at our Demo Day
Program details:
- The next Nairobi intake is August 2024
- Selected founders joining the program will receive a stipend up to USD 2500 .
- Antler invests USD 150,000 for a 10% equity stake in each company that our investment committee selects.
